Celtic, Trinovantes and Catuvellauni, uninscribed coinage, (c.60-20 BC), silver Unit 1.14g, 'Whaddon Goat' type, bust left, corded hair, borded of curved bars, rev. horse right, ring-pellets above and below, pellets around (ABC 2487; VA 1552-1; S.51), light porosity and with a little die clogging to obverse, otherwise a pleasing strike, underlying tone and a little lustre, nearly extremely fine, very rare
