Celtic, Dobunni, uninscribed coinage, (c.60-20 BC), gold Stater, 5.58g, 'Tribal Tree' type, Dobunnic tree, ring at base, rev. horse right, abstract rider above, [wheel below], dispersed pellets (ABC 2003; VA 1005-1; S.374), contact marks evident on obverse, reverse weakly struck on lower portion of horse, however upper portion struck up, this piece on a generous flan, some freshness, good very fine, better in areas, very rare
