Celtic, Atrebates and Regni, Verica, (c.10-40 AD), silver Unit, 1.22g, 'Head on Spear' type, bull butting right, verica above, groundline and rex below, rev. figure standing three quarters left holding branch or ear of corn? head on spear and com behind, mif before (ABC 1235; VA 506-1; S.137), a porous, frosty appearance to the metal which appears bright, however, certainly with appeal this, a pleasing strike, good very fine/nearly extremely fine, scarce
