Celtic, Atrebates and Regni, Verica, (c.10-40 AD), silver Unit, 1.05g, 'Smiley' type, com.f across field, voided crescent moon and ring-pellets above and below, all within beaded border rev. boar right, rosette of pellets above, vir and groundline below (ABC 1220 var.; Bean VERC1-9 var.; VA 470-1 var.; S.131 var.), dark patina, slightly patchy in places, wear to centres, reverse well presented, , nearly very fine/good very fine, this variety with rose above boar and reading VIR excessively rare, only three others recorded
