Celtic, Atrebates and Regni, Tincomarus, (c.25 BC-AD 10), silver Unit, 1.18g, 'Ladders' type, head left, motif and ring-pellet, rev. horse left, tin above, hook motif below (ABC 1097; Bean TIN1-4; VA-; S.-), just the lightest of porosity on this, otherwise a truly remarkable piece struck in the highest relief, perfectly centred and just fractional cabinet friction on the high points, as struck, extremely fine and this the only known example of this type
