Celtic, Cantii, uninscribed coinage, (c.50-20 BC), gold Quarter Stater, 1.30g, 'Yoke Sunflower' type, blank die, rev. horse left, yoke above, sunflower below, ring-pellet before (ABC 207; VA-; S.-), some contact marks and light scratches to obverse, horse's right foreleg removed from die?, this reverse, even under magnification shows no sign of wear on the high points and is as struck, a superb and fresh example, extremely fine, excessively rare
