1897 (1 Aug.) envelope to England, bearing 1894 ½d. dull mauve and green block of four and a single cancelled by three fine strikes of the "r.m. office/hlabisa" rubber datestamp in violet, the reverse with Lower Umfolosi rubber datestamp (date unclear) in violet, Eshowe (4.8), Durban (6.8), and Maidstone (27.8) datestamps; some minor foxing on adhesives though an attractive franking.
