Note: Since its discovery in 1879, only three unused and ten used examples of this error have been recorded. This new example is now the eleventh used example recorded. Of these eleven used examples, four are in institutional collections leaving only seven available to collectors, one of which has not been seen since the auction of the Goodfellow collection in 1947. of these seven, three are faulty, leaving only four fine examples.
