½a. red, neatly cancelled with part, hardly inked, impression of a diamond of dots cancellation, affixed to a piece to which it does not belong, presumably for preservation purposes; a few surface abrasions which have been overpainted, though an attractive example of this rare and delicate stamp. Holcombe Certificate (1988) states "in a good state of preservation having no surface cracking as is usual with these stamps". S.G. 3, £25,000. Photo
