1900 (Nov.) envelope from Rouxville, O.F.S. to a P.O.W. in Diyatalawa Camp, Ceylon, franked at 4d. and showing a good strike of the oval-framed "canadian contingent/south africa." datestamp (21.11) tying the adhesives, and superb Camp censor cachet; a most unusual usage of the Contingent cachet on non-Canadian, non-Contingent mail.
