Queen Elizabeth II Issues
1992 (Jan.) Threatened Species, 45c. self-adhesive se-tenant strip of six with black (inscription etc.) omitted and crossed by continuous red line, fine. S.G. 1321a-1326a, £1200; BW 1553Bcb, $3000. Photo
Note: One dispenser box of 100 was purchased at Buxton (N.S.W.) with the black printing omitted. It has been ascertained that a number of defective rolls, including one with the black printing omitted, were used to test the "slitting and marking" machine. For this purpose, the red marking pen was adjusted to make a continuous line across the face of the stamps, and the black omitted errors are in this form with a horizontal red marking pen across each stamp. Subsequently to the test, some of the stamps used for test were inadvertently boxed and distributed.
