The following four lots come from a De La Rue "Proposed Scheme of Colours" Appendix sheet dated 1 August 1883
Imperforate 1/- trial in bright yellow-ochre on CC watermarked paper; fine. This proof was marked "This colour cannot be improved upon" on the Appendix sheet and is quite different in colour to those 1/- imperforate plate proofs offered under the 1880 issue. Photo
