£1 mauve marginal example from the top of the sheet with plate number, variety double perforations between stamp and margin, and what appears to be double perforations at left and right, fresh vibrant colour, unused with nearly full original gum. Undoubtedly one of the finest examples extant, and one of only two examples with this perforation variety that we record. S.G. 6, £4,250. Photo
