1c. on 3c. brown on yellow vertical marginal block of ten from the foot of the sheet, variety imperforate horizontally and with two stamp in the left-hand columns with surcharge omitted, unused without gum, and a used block of eight with the lower left stamp variety surcharge omitted, an unusual pair of multiples. S.G. 27, 27c, £1,500+

Note: The surcharge omitted variety was caused when gum on the face of unsurcharged stamps was washed off after the stamps were surcharged
