Fine example of the rare Peter Schenk edition of Blaeu's map of Venezuela and the North-eastern part of South America. It includes two decorative cartouches, the title with two putti, vignettes of various indigenous animals, a compass rose, etc. Latin text on verso.

Usual central reinforcement, four tone or stain spots which show through to the front. Photo
