1655 Iunnan Imperii Sinarum Provincia Decimaquinta, by Johannes Blaeu; 19 x 16 inches with border trimmed to about one and a half to three inches, old coloured.

Copper engraving on stout wove paper. From "Novus Atlas Sinensis a Martino Martinio Soc. Iesu Descriptus ...", Amsterdam. This map of Yunnan with many cities including Yunnan, Cingkiang, Kingtung, Tali, Cioking and Liliang; the scale cartouche with a female religious statue, the title cartouche with four children and a rather fat elephant. The tropic of Cancer is marked in red.
