Ketir Mines Ltd., $1 shares, 193[6], no.27, ornate border, black on grey paper, adhesive revenue stamp at top left, edge tear at right otherwise about very fine and a rare locally registered company.

Many of the early companies formed in the 19th century to explore for Tin and especially the rubber companies formed during the boom of 1910 and later were formed in the United Kingdom. Although there were many companies formed under local laws they tended to be very small and few certificates survive. In the last 40 years no more than 50 local pieces have been seen and may of those are 'one off''. This example is one of two pieces known to the cataloguer.
