Lord Irwin (1926-31): 1929 (April) two typewritten letters on Viceroy's Camp, India letterhead, to the Manchester Chamber of Commerce. The first letter opens "It gives me much pleasure to receive your letter of 28th March by the first air mail from Great Britain to India ..."; the second letter is politely refusing an invitation to address the Manchester Chamber of Commerce; both double-page letter signed "Irwin" and each with the original O.H.M.S. envelope bearing Viceroy's Camp P.O. c.d.s. and special registration label.
