Lord Chelmsford (1916-21): 1920 (22 November) a typed bifolium sheet of stout watermarked paper with gold embossed Viceregal Royal coat of arms, to the Maharaja of Bharatpur. The letter explains that the King Emperor is to be represented by his uncle, Field Marshal the Duke of Connaught, at the inaugural ceremonies for the first meeting of the Chamber of Princes. With the original envelope which has been roughly opened and bears the gold Royal coat of arms. Signed "Chelmsford"; good to fine. Photo
