William III (1694-1702), Shilling, 1701, gvlielmvs. iii. dei. gra., fifth laureate and draped bust right, rev. inverted die axis, mag. br. fra. et.hib. rex. four crowned shields cruciform, plumes in angles, seven strings to Irish harp, arms of Orange Nassau in centre, edge diagonally milled (ESC 1125; MCE 887; S.3517), a few flecks on the obverse, extremely fine, some lustre under old grey tone
