1935 (5 Nov.) Cape Town to London Record Flight by D. Llewellyn and Mrs. J. Wyndham: envelope to Scotland franked 1935 Silver Jubilee 3d. and 6d. with double-ring "cape town municipal air-port/wingfield" cancellation, on arrival at London additionally franked Great Britain 1935 1½d., signed by the pilot David W. Llewellynn; a little stained though an exceptional rarity. It is believed that three covers were carried, one is now housed in the British Library, the second was lost in 1940. Photo
