The International Gold award-winning collection formed by Barry Smith
1934 (4 Sept.) envelope registered to Pernambuco franked 2d., 3d., 4d., 6d., 1/- bi-lingual pairs with Pretoria cancellations, Friedrichshafen transit marking (16.9) and carried by the Graf Zeppelin on the 8th. South America flight of 1934, arrival c.d.s. (18.9) on reverse; a few minor stain spots though an extremely rare South African Zeppelin acceptance. It is believed that only two covers are known from South Africa carried on any Zeppelin flight. Photo
