1929 (24 Feb.) Verneuk Pan-Cape Town flight, crashed at Clanwilliam, ½d. postal stationery card, additionally franked 2d. and 3d., registered to Mowbray, signed on the reverse by all the people who were at Verneuk Pan, including the postmaster G.N. Grey and Malcolm Campbell who was there in connection with his attempted "Blue Bird" record attempt. Rare with twelve items, including two registered, recovered. Photo
