1887-91, a predominantly mint study/part reconstruction of the 1c. on 2c. surcharge without and with bar; the without bar comprises Types 30 (136, including one with surcharge double; twenty-one are used), 32 (21 including a pair with one showing variety "preak"; two are used), 33 (33, seven are used), 34 (40, eight are used), 34 (40, eight are used) and 37 (24, three are used), some are in multiples including blocks of twenty, twelve and six (2) and vertical strips of ten, six five and four; the with bar comprise Types 30 (92 including two showing narrow "O"; eight are used), 41 (32, one used), 34 (62, three are used) and 37 (28, two are used), some are in multiples including blocks of fifteen, eight and four plus vertical strips of six and three, also a complete lower right pane of sixty (faded); condition fine throughout. A superb starter lot for the newcomer but also a very useful lot for the specialist
