1875 (21 Jan.) envelope to Germany, marked "Via Triest", bearing 1867-72 4c. rose and 6c. lilac pair, all clearly cancelled "B/172" (Type K4) and showing the rare small "malacca/p.o" double-ring d.s. (Type D3; latest recorded date) alongside with unframed "pd" in red and, on reverse, Singapore Paid (22.1) and arrival datestamps; the envelope with some stains, mainly peripheral. Very rare. Photo
