(x) Norway: Nationaltheatret, 100 krone share, Christiania 1898, no.2719, lovely vignette of the Theatre at top, graphic border, blue-black printing, heavy centre fold torn at edges, about very fine.

The Theatre, situated between the Royal Palace and the Parliament building was opened for its first performance in September 1899 and has been used continuously since that time despite some financial crises. The Norwegian government now provides some support to ensure its success.
