Keijo Camp - Outgoing Mail
1944 two envelopes from Major P.D. Leighton to his wife in London, the first typed from Keijo Camp with typed "service des prisonniers de guerre" in red, bears Prisoner of War Post in red and Chosen Prisoner of War Camp Censored handstamp in red with Terada seal, British censor seal "6543" and redirected to Wales with London 1945 (1 Jan.) machine postmark. A second envelope with large letters "SERVICE DES PRISONNIERS DE GUERRE" in red, a superb strike of the same prison camp handstamp in lake-red with Tatara seal; received after the war with "postage paid" dumb machine postmark in red.
