(†) Sultanate of Oman, Currency Board, obverse and reverse composite essay on board for 5 rials Omani, ND (c1972), serial number A/1 573277, purple on green and multicolour underprint, Sultan Qaboos bin Said at right, value at centre and top left and right, arms at top right, reverse purple, Mirani Fort at centre, value at top left and right
(Pick not listed, LNZ not listed), a completely unknown design for the first issue of Omani notes, the Sultan did not in fact appear on the notes until four years later, and with a different portrait, and Mirani Fort was actually used on the 10 rials, with a different view chosen, unique, important, and very attractive (2)
