Constantine the Great (AD 307-337), AE Nummus (23.0 x 22.9 mm 4.09 g 6h), London mint, IMP CONSTANTINVS PF AVG, laureate, cuirassed bust of Constantine right, rev. SOLI INVICTO COMITI, radiate, draped and cuirassed bust of Sol right (RIC --; CT 6.04.001), very fine.

This coin is illustrated on the CT plate 6.04.001(2). This coin type was originally published by Gautier (1992) and the type is now known from seven examples struck from two obverse dies and one reverse die. See Cloke-Toone pp. 52-53, Huvelin (1993) and Stewartby (1994) for assessments of Gautier's argument.
