Eadwig (955-959), Penny, 1.36g, Two line type (HT1 NE), 'York' group, Heriger, cross pattée within inner circle, +eadpig rex Ð around, rev. herig / er m-o, divided by three cross pattée, trefoils above and below (CTCE p.154, No 68; N.724; S.1122), the obverse double struck and with light hairlines, good metal, very fine, Eadwig a harder monarch to source of this period, rare thus
