(x) Danelaw, East Anglia (c.885-915), St Edmund memorial coinage, Penny 1.12g, a within inner circle, +scead around, rev. +scead, cross pattée within inner circle (N.483/1; S.960), flan of small module, very light dispersed deposit, the metal in a superb state and with much of the original surfaces still visible, nearly extremely fine and this 'double obverse' with the name of Saint Edmund on both sides very rare
