Hiberno-Norse Vikings, early period, 919-25, Penny, 1.10g, St Peter sword type, sci¯pe / triiio in two lines, divided by sword placed horizontally across field, pommel to the left, trefoil of pellets at tip of sword, letter i in legend represented by an inverted voided mallet, rev. +eroracei, divided by annulet between each letter, cross pattée with pellets in angles within inner circle (Blackburn II, p.38; N.555; S.1014), some die clogging on obverse around legend with a few light scratches, all essential devices mostly clear and a full piece, good very fine/nearly extremely fine
