Russia, Nicholas I (1825-5), Coronation, 1826, medium size medal, in platinum, 132.33g, head right, signed b. ackcbeb (V. Alexeev) on truncation, rev. Imperial crown on pillar, date in exergue, signed k to right, 51mm., 132.33g (cf Diakov 446.4 for obverse and 446.5 illustration for reverse), some marks on edge, several small marks in fields including two light scratches on reverse, good very fine, not listed in Diakov where only the larger, 65mm., coronation medals are listed in platinum, the only example recorded and no doubt of the highest rarity
