2917 Private Daniel Anderson, born Barony, Glasgow, 1851; enlisted in the Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders, May 1876, having served four years in the Renfrewshire Militia; discharged, May 1898, after 22 years' service; re-enlisted in the Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders (Militia), August 1898; awarded Militia L.S. & G.C. by Army Order February 1905; discharged, 7.8.1906.

13 Militia L.S. & G.C. Medals awarded to the 4th Battalion, Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders.
