Lieutenant Frederick Richard Swynnerton initially served as a Preventative Officer, H.M. Customs, Bombay; he was commissioned Second Lieutenant, I.A.R.O., 29.3.1918; posted Lieutenant 2/56th Punjabi Rifles, 20.3.1919; in later life he resided at '24 Aldridge Road Villas, Westbourne Park, London, W11.'
