15562 Driver Luke Cain, born Liverpool, 1856; enlisted in the Royal Engineers, June 1878; served in Egypt with 'C' Troop from August 1882, and present at the Battle of Tel-el-Kebir, 13.9.1882 (entitled to Medal and clasp); returned home, October 1882; discharged, June 1890, after 12 years' service.
