Bank Note period plate proof collection of 51 different plate proofs on India and card, includes the 1870 National Bank Note Co. cplt. on India and the 1873 Continental Bank Note Co. cplt. on card including the scarce 1c Ultramarine and 10c Brown, the scarce 6c value is also present but damaged, also includes the 1881-87 late Bank Notes on card complete except for the 1c Ultramarine which is on India, plus the Small Bank Notes complete for all values on India, the 2c is in the lake shade, all with clear to large margins, the India proofs have a few minor India flaws typical of India proofs, otherwise very fine; catalog value is over $2,800.00.
