#40, 1878 1T Bronze on blue paper, a most impressive used example of this 19th century rarity, large margins nearly all around, close but clears at the bottom, strong color, Tabriz c.d.s. postmark, certificate mentions a crease at top left which is truly insignificant, very fine; a stamp that is missing from even the most advanced collection; signed Thier and accompanied by a 1983 Holcombe certificate.
