Extraordinarily valuable collection to 1984 mostly in mounts in a Scott album, loaded with scarce to rare high cataloging stamps, with many items that are almost never found in collection balances, particularly the strong showing of reprints and re-issues, with the 1857 Reprints complete, the 1861 Re-issues complete (mostly unused) less the 3c and 10c values, and the 1869 Pictorial re-issues are complete unused or o.g., plus there are many other high value stamps, starting with three #1´s and two #2´s, the 1851 Issue includes a rare #6 and two #12´s, and filled with similar high-cataloging stamps throughout, such as seven different values of the Bluish Papers, commemoratives complete, back-of-the-book is also very strong, with complete or nearly complete selections of air posts, special deliveries, postage dues, officials (including all four State Dept. dollar values mint and #O94), a valuable representation of newspaper stamps, and the collection concludes with a complete run of Hunting Permit stamps, there will be mint, unused and used stamps to be found in all periods, with some duplication (often on better items), condition is somewhat mixed as one would expect, however there are many fine-very fine and highly saleable stamps present; among the most valuable United States collection lots we have ever offered, a careful review will confirm just what an exciting opportunity this presents; 23 PF, PSE or APS certificates accompany.
