#142, 24c Purple with grill, "H" grill, a lovely used example of this key Bank Note rarity, without the faults that plague the overwhelming majority of these stamps, this particular example possesses rather fresh color and much better centering than normally encountered, clearly identifiable grill, neat target cancel, very fine and choice; a most desirable Grilled Twenty Four Cent Bank Note; 1993 APS, 1994 PF and 2004 PSE certificates.
