Attractive postal history lot of 51 covers and two unusual unused caricature Civil War patriotic covers, covers range from eight stampless with several attractive and scarce markings including oval and straightline handstamps to covers with various frankings from the 1851 Issue to the Bureau issues, includes some better values as 10c Green (#15) on transcontinental cover from California, nice strip of three of #24 on domestic cover and a cover to Germany with vert. combination pair of #32/33 and single of #32, we also note a single franking local cover of Auburn, N.Y. with 1c Blue, "F" grill (#92), an unusual domestic franking of 7c Vermilion (#149) overpaying the double rate by 1c, and a single franking of 15c Red Orange (#189) to South Africa, plus other domestic and foreign usages of the Bank Notes including colorful frankings and advertising covers, condition varies a little but most are selected for their attractiveness and unusual usages and are fine-very fine or better; a most desirable postal history accumulation that is well worth examining.
