I, well centered horizontal strip of three tied by Springfield, Ill., May 15, 1861 c.d.s. postmarks on "Our Country", flag, globe and verse patriotic cover to Greenville, Ill., interesting manuscript notation "I didn't have any three cent stamps (Jo)" just below stamps, light pencil mathematical doodles on reverse, very fine; a scarce and attractive usage of the 1857 1c Type I on a patriotic cover; an off-cover used strip of three of #18 catalogs $2,100.00.
