#143LP10, Wells, Fargo & Co., Black Publishers' Newspaper stamp, horizontal pair, left stamp showing the variety missing the outer frame line at left, mostly clear to large margins, just in at a couple of points at top, tied to paste-up cover to a dealer in hardwood lumber in San Francisco by two strikes of blue straight line "Wells, Fargo & Co." handstamp, marked "pr Express" in manuscript ; very fine and unusual usage; this cover was used as an address and franking cover attached to what undoubtedly was a package of printed advertising, not only is this highly unusual but the use of a multiple of this Publishers' Newspaper Stamp is extremely rare with very few known; 2013 PF certificate.
