1902 Boer war prisoner-of-war cover, an outbound cover from the POW camp in Bermuda with 1p Carmine rose tied by "Hamilton/Bermuda/JU 24, 1902" c.d.s., to Bloemfontein, South Africa, bearing an excellent strike of violet boxed "Prisoners of War/Passed Censor/Bermuda" handstamp, this is the rarest type Bermuda censor marking with the number "4" omitted from the center (CM4a), bkstd., edge tears to the cover not affecting markings, otherwise fine and a rare POW cover.
