#31-33, 10c Green, vertical strip of three, types II, III, I, vertical strip of three, the top stamp being Type II, middle stamp Type III and bottom stamp Type I, tied by New Orleans, La. Jan 12 1859 c.d.s. postmarks on blue folded letter to Nantes, France, red New York Paid 12 Juan 21 c.d.s., French transit pmk. and receiving backstamps, stamps with strong rich color, very fine; an impressive double rate cover containing the rare se-tenant type strip of three, with only three or four such strips recorded on cover.
