France 1849-50 First Issue lot of a few hundred mostly used stamps and some covers, with many shades, varieties and cancels present, includes thirteen of the 15c Green and 22 of the 1Fr in various shades including a pair and strip of three on cover, plus some re-issues, plate proofs and forgeries, also a similar representation of the 1852 Issue, typical mixed quality though most with fine-very fine appearance; a worthwhile lot that boasts a very high catalog value (Scott #1/11).
