France classic issues collection of 96 covers mounted and written-up on album pages in two binders and 211 mostly used stamps housed in small stockbook for safekeeping in a bank vault, being the issues from the 1849 Ceres issue to the 1872-75 Ceres issue, with the covers the collector attempted to obtain as many different single franking covers as he could, with values to 1Fr noted, plus some additional multiple franking usages, while the stamps are a representative assemblage including shades, high catalog value but mixed condition so inspection is advised; four certificates accompany.
