France balance of the "Unconventional Classic France" exhibit formed by John Lievsay, called unconventional because it contains virtually no straightforward stamps, rather it is filled with proofs, essays, shades, plate varieties, errors, re-issues and usage both on and off cover, contains all issues from the 1849 First Issue to the 1876-1900 Sage issues, plus postage dues, newspaper stamps, telegraph stamp and Alsace & Lorraine, too diverse to go into any detail, needless to say there are many unusual, scarce, rare and probably unique items throughout; an excellent basis on which to form a specialized 19th Century France collection.
