#J6 var., 1871 25c Black postage due, double impression, two clear and distinct impressions space about 1½mm apart, ample to large margins all around, light c.d.s. cancel, fresh paper, very fine; this is the only recorded example of the Twenty Five Cent postage due with a double impression, an important error rarity for the France or postage due collector; not yet listed in Yvert or Scott; signed Goebel as a double impression (Yvert #TT5 var.).
