#2, 1851 6p Slate violet on laid paper, two large four margined singles with the left stamp being a left sheet-margin single, both on folded letter cancelled by two target cancel strikes with red "St Catherines, UC/Oct 15 1852" c.d.s. postmark at left addressed to New York, red two line "Canada/Paid 10 cts" with "10" crossed out and re-rated with ms. "20", Queenston transit c.d.s. on reverse, both stamps with small faults including the right stamp being affected by a file fold, fine; a scare Kennedy correspondence usage.
